Packaging Cost Calculator

The Signode Cost Calculator is an easy way to estimate and compare the cost of a customer’s current packaging method to a new proposed packaging method. The user enters package dimensions and strap selections and the calculator shows per package strapping cost, annual strap costs, annual estimated savings and percent of savings. Current-to-proposed-strap comparisons include steel to plastic, plastic to plastic and steel to steel. The completed calculations can be emailed. The calculator is not only for internal employees, but for use by external users such as distributors. Signode’s Cost Calculator does not provide an analysis of packaging requirements nor recommendations for the safe securement and transportation of a load.
